We definately still cherish our childhood memories of our grandparents telling stories_at least for those of us who had the chance to have grandparents. Most of us would not remember most of those stories. And I'm afraid that one day we loose that cultural heritage. Because it is important for the future generations to be rooted in their own culture and open to other nations, Grandma Stories in 2080 is a project that starts from the partner countries cultural heritage of tales grandparents or parents would tell their grandchildren/children.
Moreover, stories are powerful tools for education and to create change. Through storytelling, the students will not only reflect on serious issues such as environment, quality education, gender equality, peace, and justice, etc... but also develop their language skills and creativity!
